Lowered 996, drop link for sway bar?
I had Feal 441 coil-overs installed on my 02 996 and it lowered the car about 1.5 inches on their highest setting. Now the drop link is nowhere near my Eibach sway bar. I don't know what size or what is the correct drop link is to order. Should I just measure the distance?

U wont need custom as there r plenty of adjustables in different sizes.

Never even thought about this, but I am going to be in the same boat here soon. I have the same coilovers. In the past many of my coilover sets included the shorter links in the kit, but sounds like Feal doesn’t do this. Would love to know what everyone does for this solution. Might as well get these ordered up now before I install.

Same here. My alignment shop (one of the best) said they are within specs at the ride height we set with PSS10s on my 2004 996
If I was racing this car it would be lower and the slippery slope would begin

The op's issue is he has an adjustable track bar. With the factory link he may not beable to use all the positions. Looking at the pictures again it looks like he can just rotate the bar up and attach the links without it hitting the toe link bar?

Inch and half drop sounds like quite a bit - do you have the spacers installed? When I replaced my stock suspension (old and tired with 90k on it) with the Feals the rear dropped maybe 1/4 of an inch. Fronts dropped about 1 1/4.

I spoke to FEAL and they said it can be rotated. The shop that installed the coilovers said it wouldn't work and they just left the bar unattached.
I am rotating it today to see if It can be attached.

The factory links should not cause a preload issue. The mount on the shock should be in a fixed position similar to how they were mounted on the strut. The adjustment for corner balance is above the mount so the height doesnt change.

I used Powergrid links with my Feals and Eibach Seay bars. That shop is crazy to leave it disconnected. Just rotate it and connect it until you get the adjustables.

Do you know that your sway bar bushing isn't bolted all the way down? Or am I seeing it wrong?
Or is that because of a larger diameter sway bar? It looks like there is a gap under the head of the bolt.
