look here

look under vehicle dynamics
There's always the add-on G-Tech, which seems to work really well and handles a lap of the track with some interesting results.
I like the idea of data logging, but I'd like to go to a purpose-built product. It's just a matter of time before the GPS units tie in with the data acquisition products at a price point for enthusiasts -- instead of the high-end pro/semi-pro racer stuff.

How did you get the monitor installed? Professionally? Did it need some sort of custom made harness to integrate into the cubby?

It was professionally done by someone in Los Angeles. They made a custom enclosure of sorts to hold the monitor in the cubby. If you are interested in more information, I'd be happy to give you the name and number of the installer.

To add to my post...

I have had my Alpine Nav for two years now without a single ounce of trouble. It is always right (damn her!)...even when I think she is wrong. I ripped out PCMII from my Carrera to install this nav I liked it so much. I highly recommend it for ease of use, intuitive functionality and looks.

As far as losing OBC, I didn't, not entirely. All functions remained except those that were integrated with my PCMII. So if you don't have PCMII I would assume it wouldn't be a problem.

Robyn,

Do you still have the PCM II? Let me know I'm looking to add to my 03 Cab.

Holy Smokes...what an awesome piece of equipment....the shop that installed it and did my windows is owned by Morris Peterson who plays for the Toronto Raptors, I spent some time with him looking at his cars before they wheeled mine out...wow...I am impressed...I drove a friend home while she watched MI:2 , the sound is incredible...the NAV is incredible, the touch screen is incredible..you get the idea...I think I'll get the camera installed so I can see who is coming up behind me when my Targa top is down

Anyone in Toronto should have a look at

http://www.pictureperfectmotoring.com

for any electronics, wheels or body mods...some of the work they have done is unbelieveable....

I'll post pics as soon as I stop playing with the new AVIC-N1...

Just to share my experineces with you guys.

Last week I had a Kenwood DV3200 SatNav and LZ651W multimedia player installed in my 996 TT.

The result I think is fantastic, giving me Satnav, TV,DVD,MP3,CD and 6 disk autochanger
