Default Anyone re-map DME using OME codes?

Put Fabspeed cold air (BMC), headers and exhaust on '99 cab. Wondering if anyone has used "other" Porsche DME settings to accomodate the higher flows. I have heard there are resident programs/maps in all DMEs that might be used to better use these bolt on mods. These maps may be for higher altitudes, country specs (ROW), fuel...

I am considering this instead of the after market "chip" approach to smooth the power curve (I don't expect big HP gains). Anyone experimant with this approach? Thanks!

you can have the dealer do the ROW programming, I am told the torque is better, although it is also rummored for some reason, one of the 02 sensors is not used??? In any event the giac is the way to go.
