Default Clockspring Wiring Diagram

I finished the AMG paddle shift upgrade on my wife's tiptronic Carrera and noticed that there was an unused wire on the steering wheel side of the clockspring. It's the Yellow/Red wire in the photo below.

This photo was taken before I removed the steering wheel for modification, so that wire is *definitely* unused, and the same wire appears in Vince124's paddle shift install write-up. For now, I've left the functionality of the original tiptronic shift buttons, but if I can determine where that wire goes on the steering column side of the clock spring, I would like to reuse the tip buttons as a series of KEY1 resistor ladder signals on the CarPlay head unit that I installed last year.

I have seen that same color wire used as the horn signal on some images of manual transmission clock springs, but those all have many fewer wires. Does anyone know where to find the clock spring wiring diagram for a tip, or at least where that wire originates from on the dashboard side?

Cheers.

The Bentley manual has the wiring diagrams.
