Default MAX Front tire

Ok guys, and yes I have searched the threads. I am needing to find out what everyones ideas/experience. I have 19x 8 Lobster wheels for a 47 offset. I am currently running 235/35/19 fronts and want a larger contact patch up front. 245 seems simple enough but would really like 255's. what of this is possible? Any advice would be of great help.

Depends on how low your car is, if u like your fender liners, r your fenders rolled, do u have coilovers r struts.

other then looks im not sure what reason there is for a 255. The light weight of the front end u will loose grip on a wide tire although some do track with 255s, many have proven a 245 is faster.

A tire that is too wide for a wheel does not provide better handling.

You would need a 9" wheel, maybe you can get away with 8.5.

I believe 265/ 315 have been installed on narrow-body cars but I doubt it was easy. Turbo and wide-body not so difficult. There was a thread sometime ago but I don't remember the name. Also, they were 18 in which is the preferable size giving adequate sidewall.
