Default Is it summer yet?

Can't wait to get the car out for summer! Is anybody else sick of winter?

Took mine out yesterday for a spin (Central MA) and the cover is off for the season. The only challenge is avoiding the potholes that are everywhere!
Question - why the 2X4 behind the rear wheel?

That's awesome! Oh ya it's the same thing here. So many potholes everywhere! Gonna be a slalom trying to get it anywhere. The 2x4 is just there as a wheel chock in case the parking brake let go. Pretty unnecessary but hey why not. I don't usually put anything behind the wheels during the summer when I park it.

Default The season is open!

Finally got the car out for some photos of the painted calipers. I am really happy with the results.

I also had the headers and X-pipe installed. I have some cellphone videos I will post.

Default Exhaust Steup

Here is a video of the exhaust the day I picked it up from the shop. More videos to come.

Car sounds great- very nice setup- love the FVD products. How does the drivability feel with the setup?

Thanks! Driveability is great. No issues at all. The setup is surprisingly quiet at idle and when cruising. It wakes up a bit when under load. At wide-open throttle it absolutely screams! Exactly what I wanted.

Which of the FVD exhaust components did you go with?

I went with their catless X-pipe for PSE mufflers. Here is the link on their website. https://www.fvd.net/us-en/21011123PS...haust-pse.html
The headers are equal length off ebay. Something like this https://www.ebay.ca/itm/284379157462...3ABFBMjLSH1YBg

Default GT3 Cup Front Lip

The build is coming along with a new GT3 Cup front lip. I purchased it off the FVD Brombacher website.

I'm really happy with the look. It completely transforms the base bumper and dresses up the front end quite well.

The car is now lowered on Ceika 1M coilovers. They were installed before putting the car away last winter so I have been running on them all summer. I am really happy with the result. The car looks and drives amazing!
