I am getting ready to install a serious stereo system and wanted some advice before I get started. I was thinking of going for a JL amplifier which would be installed in the front trunk. Any model recommendation from the JL line that would be best or any other type of amplifier that would accomodate me? I will going with JL audio woofers and MB Quarts in the front, rear and dash. Thank you.

Well there are lots of options , here first off do you want to use a one , or two amp setup. I went with 3-- 2 channel amps I had 2 so why not add a third to control the rear speakers.Are you going to change your head unit, if so you may have more control over the levels of gain to the channels. there are lots of questions , I will try and help as I can , but need more info. But the JL amp line is awsome...I would use the 500/1 for the sub and maybe the 4650 for the highs.....good luck

that 500/5 is awesome. One amp can run your whole system.

They got some nice units. I used a JL 500/5 to power my entire system in my 99 C2.
