Default Roof rack
I tend to do more 996 driving in the fall. I was thinking it would be nice to take it to the beach but space is sort of an issue. Anyhow, is there any special requirements for roof racks to attach to a 996. I know there are slots on the roof for a rack. Is the attachment Porsche specific or do other companies (like a Thuele) racks work?

Sorry to hijack this thread but i am wondering if there is a way to add the adapters on a hard top of a convertible.

There is a Porsche roof rack for Cabs, but I don’t think it will hold a lot of weight. The Porsche rack I mean.

I have to roof rack for my cab. I carried bikes and a rof box for skis I have to check but I believe it can hold 150 lbs
