Cars have different second hand values in different countries. Import tax on cars in some countries can be up to 500% making your Merc C class have a resale value of over $150K.

Zapirros: if you have a description of the possible damage I think there are enough people to give you advice on cost of replacement parts, etc.

The reason for our reaction is that in the US, salvage cars are like poison because of the way the title is made out and because of the unknowns. If you are buying it "blind" then it might need very minimal damage, or it could have been submerged entirely. It is very hard to visually judge the extent of the damage.

Your laws may not be as tough in your country so you might in fact make money on a re-sale. Unfornuately, this is not the way the people on RENNLIST operate. Good luck!

Depending on how flood kinda damage it is and if it is major-I think about the only thing salvageable is the shell and ne plastic parts. If it was really cheap(really cheap)-good project for a dedicated track car if you have funds : ). Regards. Mike
