Default Factory locking wheel bolt question

I was taking the one the wheels off my new to me 996 and the locking socket cracked. Someone used the impact to put them on. So my question is this factory or aftermarket? I am heading to the dealership Monday to see if they have a match to get them off.

I believe those are aftermarket, not Porsche OEM.

I agree...aftermarket. Once you get those wheel locks off, please, PLEASE, throw them in the trash and buy some new lug bolts.

Looks like I found where they came from. Hope they are all the same pattern.

The dealer will have a full set of 30 or so wheel lock keys. They will remove it for you and can .. 1) sell you a new key or 2) sell you a new bolt. Just buy the bolts (4) and stop using the key.

Nobody wants your old wheels. Get rid of the old locks.

There are other threads about this topic and how difficult to get a replacement set from the dealer. I've read that some dealer just had a box of them and had to route through until they found the right one. This is the first instance of seeing one cracked, thx for the pic!, but I'm guessing this is common on these cars at this age.

Is consensus really to replace them with new wheel locks? Or simply abandon them for regular wheel lug bolts?

Thx!

My car came with wheel locks, but no wheel lock key. The local Porsche dealership took them off and sold me mew bolts. One of the techs installed them free of charge without me even asking.

Got the 4 locking bolts off. Going to dealer tomorrow to buy 4 regular wheels bolts. No more locking one for me.

Believe it or not but I have the same cracked lock nut in the same place.
These are original, it was my dads car from factory and I’ve inherited and updating. Just took delivery of new tyres to get fitted and boom, the lock nut cracked when trying to loosen. Gutted.
