Hi - I've searched the forums and can't fins anyone with the same issue.

Passenger window on 996 cabriolet - drops 10mm, as soon as I unlock the car with the remote fob. It remains in the slightly lower position for a long time, sometimes - it randomly when driving - goes back up to the door closed position. It goes up too, as soon as I lock the car using the remote fob.

Please - help me figure out what to try first in order to fix.

There is a small microswitch on the door handle that is probably sticking or is flaky (highly technical term). It is replaceable. You have to remove the door card to get to it. If I was going to remove the door card, I would get a new door handle microswitch and just replace it.
