Default Recommended strut mounts for C4S

Any recommendations? See the prices vary greatly. Don't want to greatly overpay if I do not need too. Street car, not used on Track.
Thank you.

Do you have any current suspension modifications ?

The stock, or stock replacement seem to work very well, if for a road car with minimal suspension mods, I’d stick with them for compliance and the performance was always good enough for me on the road with Öhlins Coilovers.

I also ran them in the track and did not find them to be a liability.

I am going with H&R lowering springs and Bistetin B8's I believe. I had the same set up with but with HD's on my Box S and was happy with it. Price wasn't too bad. I don't want adjustables because I know I won't adjust. Thanks.

I would recommend the Feal coil-over system, I started with a stock OEM 2004 C2 , all stock I use my wife as a guide, she hated the bone jarring drive, so went to B&G progressive lowering springs and she was OK doing long rides but still didn't feel great, two weeks ago I install the Feal coil-over, set up at 23 clicks in front and 25 in the rear, what a transformation, ride quality is amazing and handling is great, took the wife last weekend for 150 mile ride thru turns, twisties and switchback thru the Sierra's back road, she enjoyed every bit of it and how the car rides now. cost wise is going to be the same as struts and springs.

At that setting, does it appear lowered? Is alignment a concern?

you can set the height of the car at what you want, stock or lower without changing the spring rate, I adjusted mine to wheel height and I run 19 in. wheel in the rear and 18 in. in front. I always recommend alignment, if going with same height again you could get away without alignment, if lowering get an alignment. the setting I mention are for the dampening of the system, there is 30 different settings and those are for guy's that go back and forth with track or Xcross and then street use,, just found out Feal is running 10% off right now, call Mike at Feal and ask for free shipping also.

I could only find the Febi-Bilstein shock mounts, so that is what I used. The rest of my suspension is all stock. Possibly I am not discerning enough, but the ride and handling all seem fine to me.

I have the same set-up. The Tarret front mounts, while adjustable, cost the same as the OE mount so a no brainer. OE in the rear.

While you won't know how to adjust them, the shop that does your alignment will (they bettter!) and you will most like need that extra adjustability to get the set-up right. Lowering the car 1 1/2" - 1 3/4" will introduce negative camber into your alignment and to find the right balance of everything will require some work and adjustments back and forth.
