Default Tag Light and Reverse Light not working

I just noticed both are not lighting up and wondered if anyone had a similar problem...both fuses are ok.

Take out one of the tag lights and check for 12V. You have to have the headlights on for the tag lights to work. If you have 12V, check for continuity to ground. There is a common ground point back there, I just don't remember where. Might be under the air filter box or on that back metal shelf.

Thanks there is no current at the tag lights...is there supposed to be a ground wire attached somewhere back there or maybe inside the rear bumper cover?

There is a plug for the tag lights behind the rear bumper cover. You basically have to remove the bumper cover to get to it. That doesn't explain the reverse lights, but that could be the reverse switch on the transmission.
