Xenon look alike bulbs for MY03
Hi
Does anyone know if I can swap out my halogen bulbs for a "xenon look alike" bulb? I think they are still halogen but they look a bit blue at night.
Does anyone know what brand and specs will fit a MY03 996 with the standard halogen lights?

The bulb specs should be in your owners manual. If they are the same as '00 then it will take an H7 bulb. I recently tried some Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, they were a little brighter, but only about 10%, which I guess is a decent improvement for the price. The H7 is already a premium bulb, so there is not that much to gain. You have to be very careful and do not use bulbs with higher wattage than stock (55W in the US), you can burn up the housing.
I switched over to Litronics and couldn't be happier, a dramatic improvement.
