May be an unpopular opinion, but I actually LIKE the lower console and use it to store a variety of oddments from phones, receipts, papers etc. This is why I opted not to go with a console delete.

I did mine years ago and prefer it. No regrets.

I'm looking for a type of phone mount. Please help us to understand how you've mounted this mount:

Within this console:

So, nothing to prove, per se, but some pictures or explanation would certainly be helpful. Thanks!!

Not trying to antagonize, but I have the same mount I want to use. So I was hoping you'd post pics...

Looks like you could just pull out the stereo (or HVAC control) and secure the Rennline mount with sticky tape instead of a bolt...

I'm 6'5" and after a few hundred mile trip in the Targa, I knew the GT3 Console Delete was an absolute must.

No Natural Brown ones were available in the US, but found one at Rose Passion.

Install was easy with the hardest part being the relocation of the Targa and heated seat controls.

I also have the Bose sound option with the subwoofer in the passenger footwell. This left a bit of black housing exposes on the top of the subwoofer, so I took the carpet from the removed side panel and fitted it on there. Looks factor if I do say so myself.

Digging the clean look of the GT3 delete. I don’t use the disc changer anyways, but my question is where do the heated seats buttons go? Could they go below the ash tray in the center console? I have two black buttons that seem to have zero use.

I ended up doing a console delete using mostly carpet. Every once in a while I miss putting my phone in the little cubby below the CD holder but just toss it on the passenger seat instead. I would not go back either.

I once had a run in with an officer on a construction site.
I was trying to go through at a slow speed and he jumped in front of me so some side traffic could exit onto the main road so I had to come to a halt. Mind you, I was on a coffee run for the office and had a full tray in the passenger seat so I had to stop briskly but smoothly to not spill 100% Arabica bean water ALL over my interior
He got all up in my face swearing and saying I could have killed someone and then he noticed the phone in my lap and went on a rampage about that, ever since I started tossing the phone in the cubby.
I chocked it up the fact the 996 looks like its going fast, even when it's creeping along

Do you have any blanks on the center dash? The heated seat buttons have enough length to easily move to the center dash console. I re-arranged my buttons a bit so the heated seat buttons could be at the bottom of the stack. The Targa controls moved to where your rear blanks are in the picture you posted. I had to extend these wires in order to reach.
