New REDLINE SafeGuard Roll Bar for 996s
Hey Gents;
Here's a little something I've been working on. Bolt in, only very minor non-visible (with seats reinstalled) mods to the carpet. Does not infringe on seat travel. Comes in and out pretty easily without a trace.
Looking for your considered input and comment!

Hey JLJ;
I'm glad you want one. That was an end-goal here, of course. I have not really settled on a price for sure, but I'm figuring around $750 for a price point.
What I was REALLY looking for was feedback from people that had interest in such a product and opinions on its construction. No sense getting excited about building a bunch if there is no interest or everyone already has a DAS.
OK guys... let's hear from you!?!?!?

Looks nice but my concern is that it limits seat travel. I'm 6'1" and it looks like I wouldn't be able to recline my seat as much as I do.
That's one reason I haven't gotten a harness bar yet. It goes between the b-pillars and limits seat travel.

Hey Nick;
Actually, that was one of the main goals here. The seat area toward the rear footwell is EXTREMELY restricted. The owner of this car has Sparco articulated track seats, and they rub heavily on the console and sides of the rockers. Unlike other designs, I put this bar BEHIND the b-pillar to keep as much rearward space free as possible.
By the way, you're in the shade by 4 inches standing next to me, and I use ME as the design parameter for all my SafeGaurd equipment. Seat clearance is NOT an issue... BY DESIGN!

Will these fit cars with the Bose system? The coupes with the Bose system have to use the BK harness bars that were designed for the cabs. Looking at your picture, it seems that the rear subs for the Bose will have to be removed.
