Default 2003 C4S value?

Hi all,
I have a 1997 C4S blk/blk that I may be selling to get a Speed Yellow 2003 C4S with 2200 miles. I know the $83K they are asking is high, but I don’t know how high. Have any of you done a deal on one of these receintly? I am in the Seattle area.
Thanks
Jim

is this from a dealer? if so, i think you can get at least $10k off. it's a 2003. i would really haggle on it.

I saw one '02 with 1800 miles sell for $74.6k and another '02 with 4300 miles sell for $77.9k so there's definitely room to move.

Hey Moody,
It is from a ‘Specialty dealer’. It is one owner as one would expect with only 2200 miles. The car is in perfect contrition.
How will it hold value given the 997 is not far from coming to market? Is speed yellow a desirable color?? I love the color but how is it perceived in the market?

what was the msrp of the car? yellow is a fine color, but probably most popular in a warmer climate.

MSRP $86,880. I may be able to get it for 80,500 but not less.

I got approx 3500 off my brand new '03 C4S, MSRP was around 86.5. I'd suggest you check out ebay and search the "completed items" to see what cars have sold for.

Good luck,

For example, here's a yellow '03 with 33xx miles with a "buy it now" of 75.9

jim-mid 70's sounds about right. it is a 1 year old, low mileage c4s. sounds like a nice car, that probably sold for 82.5k or so new. about 75k is fair now.
