Hi all,

New Porsche owner here. My 2002 C2 Cabrio was delivered about a week ago and I've noticed a very small leak coming from the rear center of the car. It always appears in the same spot on my garage floor. It's never huge, maybe a drip or 2 per day. But it's persistent. I assume this is engine oil but it's leaking off of the transmission so I'm not sure. It's also always dripping off of a plug that I'm not sure the function of. Maybe someone can help out identifying the source of the leak. Here's a video I just shot, thanks.

it’s a Tip. My mechanic just emailed me and said it could be the transmission breather.

 

Agree with Looneybin, looks like Automatic Transmission Fluid. Check your level, maybe it was overfilled? Killer garage floor by the way, very shiny! Unindicted Co-Conspirator, if that doesn't say it all, perfect for the times we live in.

 

Ha, thanks. I used a double layer of clear coat. Upside - floor is super shiny and nothing penetrates. Downside - it took 4 days to dry and my wife was ready to strangle me.
