Default Code P0507

Quick question. I’ve been getting a P0507 alarm code. Kinda annoying. I clear it and it comes back 20-30 miles later. It’s a high idle alarm and says it could be a vacuum leak. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a common place where this leak occurs or am I on a wild goose chase till I find it? Thanks

Easiest way to find a vacuum leak if you cannot hear it, is a smoke test. Cheap smoke kits can be found on fleabay.

Oil fill tube cracks. There r also several rigid vac lines that crack. Just do a search for the diagrams

I do have a broken oil filler tube. I have a new one to replace it. I got it all sealed up temporarily. Evidently not good enough?

Since the oil fill pipe has a tendency to crack on the corrugated part, very difficult to seal it. It is probably the source of your problem.
