I own both a 996 4s and a 997.2 4s. I think the 996 rear end is best looking hands down. From all other angles however the 997.2 is superior looking. I hope to follow OP’s trend and try a turbo next!

Manny, 03 4s 6 speed

Otto, 09 4s PDK 4.0

The 996 4S is a special car like the M491.

Default Apex/MPSS wheel tire specs

I decided to try something a little different with tire size as I wanted a bit more side wall for the rears.
After much deliberation and working out the correct ratios and sizes relative front to back I decided on the following.
Front: 18x8.5” ET42 with MPSS 245/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x11” ET36 with MPSS 295/35-18 tires

The last two photos show after a slight 5mm drop F&R...still have not rub issues.

According to the numbers the front to rear is only a difference of 1.5%.
Revs per mile is a difference of 13 so I think i'm within the window for proper sizes.
The overall diameter is larger in the back and I believe from most of what I've seen the fronts should be larger.
First test drive.....drove great with no warnings/codes for ABS or PSM.
Not rubbing and no spacers thanks to the perfect fitment of APEX RACING either.
May try and go 5mm lower on the Ohlins R&T after more testing.

Not sure if I'd say that 23'000 would be classified as a ton over a full production cycle... 175'000 996's were produced in total (I believe) so every 1:7.6 were a 996 C4S - but I know what you mean looking in the classified (regardless if in the US or Europe)

I've always been a butt man myself but that won't stop me from looking at an attractive pair of headlights. LOL!

I have the XAH factory aero - then I had a local decal guy make the letters for me and I applied directly to the reflector - it shows up better in black and white photos
