2003 C4 Cabriolet.
I am solving two problems. I have disabled the headlight washers by removing the fuse; of course this is after the caps flew off while driving. I am also solving the problem of paying $65+ dollars for new washer nozzles with the "cheap" cap just to replace the cap. So I am having a 3D printing company engineer a prototype and produce the caps for me from ABS plastic.
Once the prototype is complete and tested for fitment I will be offering the parts for sale (left or right).
Let me know if you are interested in some new caps for your 996.

I'm interested. I need both sides for my 1999 C2 coupe. Heck, I didn't even know you could buy the nozzles. I thought you had to get the whole unit.
I will keep you "cats" posted. Spread the word to those victims of fly-away Porsche parts. I have been around 911's (1977 911S Targa, 1979 991SC Targa and 85 911SC Cab) since I was a kid and its the worst bit of Porsche engineering I have seen.
Very cool looking. I just realized this isn't the same as mine. I have a '99 with the factory litronic lights. There is no round cap, just two nozzles that stick out. My nozzles are gone.
Exactly what I need... washers work fine on mine but caps don’t look so great after a bad attempt at someone trying to polish the headlights without masking off the washer caps. Definitely interested in 2 caps once available. Thanks for helping the community with this!
Thanks to all for responding. I want to remind all interested in these custom parts. My effort here is to create a custom part that serves the purpose of covering the spray nozzle. At this point I am not making these parts to correct the engineering design defect (part flies off at speed) built into the Porsche assembly.
I will be testing my new custom parts for fitment. And I intend to test drive them at highway speeds.
But I am recommending that the use of my part requires the headlight washers to be disabled by removing the fuse. I have done this on my 2003 C4 Cab.
