Default A Pillar wire bundle question

Replacing some loose trim - came across this loose wire in the A-pillar bundle.

Can't for the life of me find it's broken companion on the other side. Any ideas?

That is the antenna for the remote locking system. Your car has had a TSB applied to extend the range. Leave it alone. (Don't wrap it in the bundle) I performed the TSB on mine when I first got my car and it helped a great deal. Now my key fobs don't work so it's a moot point.

To add a little more detail: Originally that white wire was embedded in that cluster of wires and they were all wrapped together. Customers complained about the very short effective distance of the remote lock/unlock. In response, Porsche sent out a Technical Service Bulletin to dealers telling them to separate the white wire from the rest and shorten it to a specific length. TSBs used to be available on Renntech.org but Porsche has since told them to take them down.

@ManM
Wow, I had my bound copy of TSBs out on my workbench and turned to that page.
I just ran out and took pictures.
If you want them, PM me your email address and I‘ll email them to you.
