Default Open front Hood 02 986

Battery under hood is disconnected, took off passenger side tire and cannot find wire to open the hood at all. Is their anyway to open front hood without the battery being connected? Will connecting a jumper still work?

Are you able to jump it at the fuse panel in the driver's footwell? That would be the easiest. It has a + post in there to power the car.

will it still work even though the negative battery cable on the battery is disconnected ?

Yes. You're just adding power from a different location.

You can clamp the negative terminal to the door hinge in the door jam.
