I just got back from taking it out for a cruise and snapped a few pics. I am happy with how they came out, I was worried because I've never done anything other than silver or anthracite type colors. The color is called goldtastic and it has a clear and I applied Opti-Coat Pro+ to them. The faces of the wheels were actually in excellent shape but the barrels were toast, didn't even come clean with mechanical abrasion.
I like it! Gold and blue is really sweet together, plus the saddle interior is the icing on the cake. Having said that, I must now confess that I have the identical Ocean Blue cabriolet with saddle interior, and the Sport Design wheels painted gold, so my opinion is biased.
At risk of offending people, it reminds me of the great Subaru color combo and I think that's no bad thing! I've been contemplating a similar thing with the winter wheels for my DD (Interlagos blue BMW) so I'm totally on board with what you've done here.
Awesome stuff.
ETA: Just went back and noticed how you aligned the center caps. Well done

I have always liked the world rally blue and gold wheels on the STI, I think its really a classic look for those cars. Thanks, I actually noticed in the one picture I hadn't aligned the caps and I was waiting for someone to call me out but they are all aligned on the car!
