Default 4s brakes saved my butt

Driving in Brooklyn as the highway approached a major split. At last second two cars ahead in lane to my left decides he needs to be 2 lanes further to the left, slams on brakes, car behind him swerves hard right. I lock’m up and avoid being sandwiched between large SUV and concrete wall.

Now if i could only find some toilet paper! WTF is wrong with people.

Stay safe.

Glad to hear you are safe? Where you by chance speeding in your new "Hot Rod"? Just kidding!

On a side note, we can't find any toilet paper here as some people are in a panic and hoarding all they can get...WTF wrong with people?

Was in the 996 today, 997 isnt registered yet. Dropped it off yesterday for paint correction/PPF/ceramic coating in the interim. Every time I drive the stage II and then get back in the 996 MT, i enjoy its nimbleness more than i ever realized.

NJ Turnpike today was as empty as I’ve even seen on a weekend, and boy was it moving. Zero radar hits or waze notifications for 60 miles in both directions. I took full advantage. Can’t do that in Hawaii Bill!

Thread Hijack Warning!!! Shouldn’t the food run out before toilet paper gets sold out? Did Trump say something about a dysentery pandemic I missed?

People be idiots! Good job keeping your eyes open and making the right driving decision. Glad you are still enjoying the 996. Wait...here's a thought...send the 996 to Jake and get a Stage II put in it. Best of both worlds. Nimble and blazing fast!

The stage II with PDK, based on my limited use so far, isn’t a car you would want to go for an easy drive around the neighborhood or to run a short errand, maybe a stage II with MT would be more of a fun daily driver. Maybe more time behind the wheel will change my opinion.

The FSI Stage II will make a fine daily driver regardless of transmission - long haul, short errands, whatever. It's very tame if driven that way... I wish I could drive mine daily (I do every chance I get)...
