I also dealt with Brian and he seemed like a stand up guy. He was posting wheels for sale back then on a BMW forum under the user name "davidchargers". I remember calling him Dave instead of Brian a few times. IIRC, the older guy on the far right in the pic I posted is Brian's real Dad and the owner of the company. My comments were tongue in cheek and not leaving my car there was for my own convenience and that I share your opinion of that part of El Cajon (no offense to any El Cajonians).

Maybe she was catering to the before church/up all night tweaker customer demographic. I was last in El Cajon in 2017 where my Mom's Mercedes indie is (she lived in La Mesa) and it is definitely changing...

Verified that refurbishing, including barrels and powder coating will cost $160/rim, i thought previously it was $150. They will do a run-out test and provide results. 2 full days (drop off early a.m. day 1 and pick-up end of day 2) to complete and then mount/balance new summer tires. thanks for all the feedback.

Mmmm, BMW Style 5.

I miss my bimmer, may she rest in peace.

That's called the "late add on Porsche tax" ! I was quoted $175 ea. for my Sport Classic II's a couple years ago. Since I could only get two in the car I had, I dropped them off first and brought the other 2 a few days later. Granted, they're more complicated than twists, but my price went to $230 ea. for the second two... ... it's not like I had much of a choice

Where you getting it done? I think we live in the same area. I've been back and forth on just getting them redone, the barrels are shot versus powder coating a different color.

Going thru Hot Rides in Morrisville PA. Buy my tires there and they previously did my stereo upgrade and radar installation. They send them out, not sure where but its local due to quick turnaround. If u call, ask for Dan. Mention my silver c4s, he'll know it.

Very happy with the outcome. Brian gets extra credit for pointing the crests AWAY from the valve stems.

Looking good! Will we get to see pics when they're mounted on the car?
