Default auto transport recomendation

I need to ship a car from Chicago to Phila. Any references for carriers? If weather window is good, I might ship open since it is only a one day trip and half the price. Any thoughts?

I have only used them once but was very happy with Intercity Lines. You'll see a lot of support for them from members - that is why I chose them too.

I've used Montway for two P cars. No issues either time.

I have used plycar for my 993 from Omaha to Seattle...they were fantastic. Just used horseless carriage for my 65 Coronet 440 from deleware to austin, also delivered perfectly for Xmas surprise for parents. After Xmas I plan to ship the Coronet to Seattle using Intercity who I have also heard great things about. These were all enclosed trucks.

Finally, last year I did a road trip with my son from Seattle to Austin one way in his 2001 boxster. We shipped the car back with roadrunner who is an agent. The car was grimy but fine after a wash and super cheap.

Call Peluzzo Exotics. I used them to bring a 928 from Philly to Atlanta. They are a “white glove” service and were priced the same as all of the major carriers for enclosed transposed. They only carry two cars at a time and use enclosed trailers.

I've used both Intercity and Montway, just realize they 100% sub-contract everything out so it completely depends on the contractor. I didn't have bad experiences either way, expect to get a shipping notification and then little communication for the next few days while the car is in transit. Overall both times my car arrived dirty as hell but no damage as far as I knew considering both cars I had never seen before. Both times Dallas>Charleston and DC>Atlanta were what I considered super cheap. Like around $3-400 dollars, so overall was satisfied enough.

Cheap car shipping are just flat out awful. I have shipped a dozen or so cars in the last 2 years. Intercity and horseless carriage are always perfect. The crappy ones are horrifically bad, brokers, etc. usually some psychotic Russian or Armenian guy. Showing up days early and screaming because they can’t pick up the car. Making you drive the car 10 miles for a place where they can “safely pickup the car” such bs. Cars being delivered with heavy damage. I have had horrible experiences with open transport cheap shipping. Intercity lines is pretty much the industry standard.

I have noticed a very strange thing during the second look at this discussion. Your message about weather conditions is still unclear for me. Do you want to say that if I want to deliver a car when it's snowing, the price would be expensive? Honestly, I have never heard about it before, it's real nonsense for me... I know one proven company that delivers cars. I want to call them immediately and ask them if weather conditions affect the price of car shipping. The agents working there https://www.shipaa.com/auto-transport-scams/ are always ready to help not only me, but every client they have.

Half a year ago, I found a great option for a car as a gift to my father. Since I am very busy at work, I will not be able to go and pick up the car myself. I had to look for good shipping, but the prices on that site were very high, so I wanted to compare them with other sites and so I came across a site where I can compare auto transport quotes. I was very happy that such a site exists and I can check it and they will choose the best delivery!
