Bumping an old thread. I am working on the UAOS and i order a replacement for the lower AOS crankcase vent hose. Well long story short, my car is a 996.2 C4S 2003 and it has the 55 part number with the check valve. The new kit i ordered has the 59 part. My engine only has one bolt hole. How do i get to use the 59 part or a 55 part is the only one that will work? I prefer the 59 part because it is way more flexible!
Thanks again guys!

I'm afraid I'm no help. It's strange that you only have one bolt hole. My 2004 C4S originally had the fully corrugated two bolt version, and a new fully corrugated 996-107-147-59 worked fine.
AutoAtlanta lists the 59 part number as working for any 3.6L '02 and up, and they only list the 55 number for 3.4L up to '01.

Someone more knowledgeable than I will have to weigh in on how you could manage to have a 2003 3.6L with the older 3.4L part.
EDIT: And I see that you got a better answer to the same question from Porschetech3 over in the UOAS thread. So... ignore me.
