Default Best bet for suspension work in Toronto area

Hi there, I have a 2001 996 C2 Cab with Tiptronic that has approx 130,000 km. I am looking to do a suspension upgrade with H&R Street Performance coilovers, H&R sway bars and new endlinks & bushings. Is there a shop in the GTA that you would recommend for this type of work, including an alignments? I have had the car to EU Autowerks, Tweaks Performance, NV Euro and Eurocharged for various things in the past - just looking for the best bet for 996 suspension work.

Thanks Bill

I've had mixed experiences with EU Autowerks. They are competent and they try hard, and they know the 996 inside out, but they're not always organized, and getting something solved often takes more than one visit.

A while back I took a 968 to Mantis to have new shocks and springs installed. They told me I'd be foolish to not also do a corner balance -- in retrospect, I'm not sure how true that was. The total for labor only was CAD $3500. And they scratched the car, and refused to accept responsibility. That's the last time I went there.

Just my personal experiences. YMMV.

If you haven't already purchased sway bars, I have front and rear 996 gt3 bars for sale which will fit the c2. Though I'd throw that out there as another option.

Shocks or coilovers? My understanding is you can't corner balance without coilovers.

To the OP: another option is Keltech in Markham. Liam is a real straight shooter.

Can't remember, I'm afraid. It was 10 years ago.
