No, it should not look like that. However, it is one of the coolant lines and it should not be a problem. Difficult to replace as in PITA.

after I hit something I saw the temperature gage a little higher and that's way I knew I had bended something.

Yes it should. I was just under my C4S a few days ago and noticed the same thing. Mine looks exactly the same.
