My driver’s side floor mat is shot and my passenger side floor mat is perfect. Everywhere I look sells only a pair of mats and its killing me to just throw away a perfectly good passenger mat. Does anyone know where to buy just a driver’s side mat? Or does someone want a perfectly good passenger side mat (you just pay shipping). Car is 2004 C4S with black interior, standard black carpet mats with embossed Porsche logo (no “911” or “Carrera” or other fanciness).
Hadn’t thought of that. Car has been garaged it’s entire life so I’ll be curious to see how closely the new ones will match. Will post when I get the new one. I’m also curious if just the side passenger mat will sell on eBay. But you never know! Thanks for the suggestions.
+996 on new genuine rubber mats - they just made them in RHD and I got a pair, YAY!
They are harder to keep clean than carpet as the dirt just sits on top of them - first world problems, the mats in my Porsche get really dirty really quickly haha.
Lloyd mats. They won't sell just a drivers side. But they are amazing quality. close material match and you can customize them to whatever you want them to say. Had mine done saying "Carrera C4S". Only cost $124.95 for a pair of fronts. Click here for the ebay listing where i got mine.
After market mats don't have the Velcro fasteners to prevent mat from sliding under brake or clutch pedal !
Lloyd mats come with a really nice kit that connects to the mat and the seat brackets. You can't see them once everything is in place and the hold perfect.
I vote for Rennline track mats with Lloyd mats on top of them! Then you have best of both worlds. Nice mats for the looks and when you hit the track you pull them to have nice hard metal track mats. In-fact, tonight i will order my track mats!
