Sunroof clunk w/ video
Recently, my sunroof started clunking when raising it to open. I have previously tried the reset thing by holding down the buttons for a set period, but that never saved. Anyway, now it's clunking. You can see in the beginning of the video that something is moving - the frame maybe? Any help would be appreciated!

Since my 21 year old 996 has started doing some wonky stuff electrically, I have decided NOT to try using the sunroof. Actually, if I had my druthers, I would opt not to even have a sunroof.

I too only use the pop-up function to let some hot air out.

It appears that the noise on pop-up only occurs once and returns after the roof has been slid open. I would look for something loose, bent, out of place or "dry". You can see the offending part move at the back of the roof when it makes the noise.
