Anybody know if a 2003 turbo front bumper and rear hood will fit my 04 Targa? I’ve seen conflicting answers on the forums....

I've read where many people have swapped out the front stock bumper with a Turbo front bumper. Should fit with no problem. The turbo rear deck lid is another story. It won't fit without some serious modifications. You could always put the aero rear wing. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing about the Targa. It's a unique car and I wouldn't want to divert for the stock look too much. But that's just my tastes. It's your car, do what you want.

Thanks for all the input guys. I’m going to do the brakes first, hopefully I can just pay slap them this go around. I’m also going to limo tint the top to keep the cooler. After that I have some small dents and scratches that I’ll need to address as I save more play money.

Tint is on!

I went with the ceramic limo tint for the top.

I bought my 2003 C2 with the turbo/C4 front cover installed on it. Love the look and it fits fine.

So I’m dropping off the Porsche with the Indy mechanic next week and he will address the following items;

1. New brake pads, hardware, sensors
2. Tighten E-brake cable
3. New air filters (engine/cabin)
4. Address AC coolant leak
5. Replace aftermarket oil filter with new OEM oil filter and change oil

I purchased all of the parts from EBS racing as they came highly recommended. The sales person at EBS also told me that I may want to replace the spark plugs as the vehicle is at 80k miles. Would you guys recommend me having them switch those out? There are no issues at this point but I don’t want to pay a mechanic a steep hourly rate if it’s a non issue.

Default Spark plugs and coil packs

I would have your tech check them, replace if dirty or worn and also do a very careful inspection of the ignition coil packs.

Plugs are fairly inexpensive, and just because the look ok doesn't mean they do not need replacement. Example, my jet ski wouldn't go over 40mph and about 5000 rpm, I pulled the plugs and they looked perfect. I decided to replace them anyway as it was only 4 plugs at 3 bucks each and boom, back to 55mph and 8000 rpm.

I know you do not have any issues but point being an inspection doesn't always show the issue, and if you are going to pay for the time to take them out, why put old back in. You are only talking another lets say $100 in plugs. The labor is being done either way.

Just my 2 cents
