Default Upholstery Problem

I'm driving a 2000 Carrera 911. It has a driver's seat air pressure adjustable lumbar bladder at the bottom area of the seat back. Apparently the bladder has pushed the seat surface forward causing the bottom of it to become detached from the seat hinge area (fulcrum where the seat back can be moved to gain access to the rear seat), and the bladder is partially exposed. There's no sign of broken threads or glue residue. Does anyone know how to reattach the seat back bottom area to the seat hinge area? Is it simply stuffed back in somehow?

Sounds like the bladder install has caused the "hog rings" to come loose. If you remove the seat & see them loose you nay be able to tighten them with pliers, or they are cheap to buy new hog rings & the install tool is not too expensive either.

Default Hog Rings?

I wouldn't know what a hog ring looked like if it hit me upside my head. Can you describe them further? Where do you buy them? Thanks

A hog ring looks like the name implies, the ring that is installed in a hog's nose to keep them from rooting/tearing up the ground. The smaller version is used in upholstery to attach the material, a special "hog ring pliers" are used to install them, Any upholstery supply outlet will have them,.,..
