If no one has told u yet u should live above 3k rpm after the car has warmed up. Also warm up the car by driving not idling. Mine is usually above 4k all the time when im city driving, it just sounds so good stringing it out.

You had a good chance of seeing a near twin vehicle, although I went through eastern WV on Thursday. You chose a nice route, although you missed taking 93 up Scheer Mountain. Several miles of hairpins, with essentially no traffic. Next time.

OP - nice Car! Good luck with 'er
"the coolant is pressurized and apparently had some air bubbles. The side to side forced the air to exit and then the fluid followed."
^^^This makes no sense... The tank has a relief valve that's designed to "burp" air bubbles - you shouldn't lose any coolant. If you're losing coolant, you most likely have a bad cap or a hairline fracture in the tank that opens up/leaks when the system gets hot/pressurized. The cap is obviously an easy/cheap fix...The tank? Not so much - expensive (over $600 plus labor) and a PITA to DIY...(certainly doable, just a pain - may want to lower the engine a bit)... Good Luck
