I had my steering wheel done by DCSW but kind of disappointed

I also have a tie-tack size Porsche crest. I've thought about grinding the backing metal down until it's as thin as possible and properly contoured so I can epoxy it onto the shield of the larger crest - but the car being a 996 and all, the list of things that actually NEED doing (like ANOTHER new ignition switch, fixing the plunger depth on the clutch switch, ANOTHER new starter, possibly another coolant overflow reservoir) is already plenty long.
Plus, I'm way too lazy to actually effect that plan.

I'm confused as well. Why haven't you contacted the company that did the work? If you have, what was their response? This thread is of absolutely 0 value to anyone without that information.

I can understand being frustrated by a vendor if we had different expectations. I'd definitely give them a call and see if you can work it out.
I have to admit, I have never taken the time to stare at the shield on the steering wheel. Does it provide a lot of value whether it has a horse on it or not?
As a side note, who is the vendor? I have a metropol blue steering wheel with a black and silver crest that is spare parts and I wonder if he'd be interested in it as a core.
