Default I had my steering wheel done by DCSW but kind of disappointed

I spend $1000 to have my steering wheel recovered and this is what Donald puts on (see image).
Now I have to get the f’n thing off because it bugs me so bad. Two reasons one I got porked on the badge and two I am not sure if I can swap it out. Sometimes I just don’t understand what the hell it is people are thinking. Customer is spending a grand but I don’t care I will put this crappy badge on. Every time I see it I get pissed off. See something missing? How dumb a move on there part.
Is it possible to remove it? I just bought a set of tools for removing interior parts and the like. The pop out stuff.

No personal experience, but from that photo, it looks like it may be installed from behind through a cutout in the leather. I wouldn't go prying on that, with the chance that it goes from bad to worse.

I must also say that will still send stuff to DCSW and that there work is phenomenal. He just made a mistake with this badge that’s all. The steering wheel is plush and done well.
I just think the last thing someone spending a thousand bucks deserves at least a new Porsche badge.
Now I have to find out if I can remove it and change them out.

I've had him do work on mine w few times and no issues...
that said WTH happened that badge? Did you contact him?
You removed the airbag...the you removed the center unit. You removed the "nut" holding the crest and replace. Did he not reuse your current crest?

Even if you have him recover the airbag, he would reuse your current crest. The only time he uses a different one is if you want a silver crest....and yours does not look like the silver crest...I'm confused

Yeah, that would bother me greatly too. Any chance you can post before and after photos or your steering wheel? I would love to see the entire wheel....

Thanks and I hope it gets sorted out to your satisfaction.

Cheers!

The other side of the story is that he told me he had a used one in good condition. So Insaid that would be fine. I did not expect this.
Pretty well worn is what I should have been told.

Have you talked to him about your dissatisfaction?

It seems like impossibly bad judgment to use that badge and I think everyone would be just as upset as you are, but it still seems like the first action should be to call them rather than post on RL. That badge does not in any way match the description you relayed, it seems certain they will make it right. If they don't acknowledge the problem or want to do anything about it, then that is worthy of public discussion.
