Default Does this mean IMS was replaced?

I am looking at a 2001 Targa with following record on CarFax from December 2004 at Porsche Dealer:

Camshaft seal(s) replaced
Clutch replaced
Transmission removed and reinstalled
Brake fluid flushed/changed
Engine cleaned
Front crankshaft oil seal replaced
Flywheel/flexplate replaced

Car had about 20K miles on it at the time.

Does this time frame and service record indicate IMS was replaced? During what time did Porsche do it for free as part of the recall?

Thanks!

996 Targa was 2002-2005.
I 'think' Porsche replaced motors, not bearings.

As a simple answer - no. No mention of IMSB (the B is for bearing) replacement.
As part of the class action lawsuit settlement, Porsche replaced entire engines. They did not have a program for IMSB replacement only.

That alone shouldn't scare you off though. It is pretty straightforward to update the IMS bearing. I've had good luck with the LN Engineering products.
