Fluctuating rpms up and down while acceleration up
.I have a 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera 3.4L Automatic and been having issues with accelerating up when I I'm on third gear cause then it makes this spitting sound from the passenger rear and loses 1500-2100 RPMs but still accelerating up on cruising acceleration but if I gun it over 2500 rpms it has no problem with the flow of the car . And when accelerate normally it goes back down and up but still increasing speed but RPMs fluctuating up and down until I hit 61 mph it stops fluctuating and making those spitting kinda sounds. But behind passenger side catalytic converter. There is a wire or pipe with oil/dirt/sludge on it. So i know I'm losing oil as well cause I've had to stop it off on the dipstick already 3 times since my last pilot change at 92k and I have 96k now. What problems could it be

OP, I'm not a transmission expert by no means, but I have experienced this problem with my other automatic cars and it had to do with the torque converter. You need to get the car to someone that specializes in Porsches and these G96/00 transmissions. I believe yours is manufactured by Mercedes?
Also, don't be overly sensitivity about topping off these cars. Keep the oil level at the middle of the electronic gauge. NEVER top off oil just after driving it. Let it sit on a level surface over night and then check it the next day. Your oil level has NO bearing on the transmission issue IMHO.

* The transmission is misbehaving in 3rd gear
* The car burns oil
* The car leaks oil
* The car is sputtering/backfiring/making "spitting" sounds
OP, the list of potential causes for these things - which may or may not have anything in common - is long.
Until you provide an adequate amount of data - what's been tried, what maintenance has been done to the car since you purchased it, any issues the car presented when you first acquired it - you're not going to get many useful suggestions.
