When I first saw your user name, I wondered.
For me:
‘80s BMWs
Racing classic sailboats
And kind of by accident, audio gear (mostly from the '70s, ‘80s & ‘90s). I never considered myself being into vintage audio until I had some out of town friends stay with me. One of them commented, 'wow, I didn't know you were into vintage audio gear'. Until he said that I didn't realize I was. I should probably seek some professional help.
German made Canton CT-80 speakers (1989) in the home theater room with JBL 2500 for the rear channels (1988). Subwoofer is a Polk Audio from the late '70s.
Spica TC 50 wedges in the living room (1985).
Dual CS5000 turntable made in Germany 1987.
In the man cave, Schiit Audio DAC & Headphone amp for the Sennheisers. NAD C162 preamp and dual NAD C272 amps powering Klipsch KG 3.5 speakers (1992).
In the workshop I have a Marantz 2235 (1975) and a Marantz PMD 502 cassette deck 1998?) feeding Klipsch KG 1.5s (1995)

^^... Sailed Mission Bay at once a month for many years. Last 10 years just Catalina.
I listen to a pair of Bose 901 originally purchased in 77 and replace by the factory in 89. I guess I am a unknowing collector also.

Old hobbies:
Boating
Water skiing
Drag racing
Newer hobbies:
road course
dirt biking
Present hobbies:
Porsche events/Hooligan road trips with my pals
With a triple heart surgery a few years ago, I slowed down on the extreme hobbies/sports, at 63yo I'm just glad to be here. Here is a pic of my last dirt bike I sold a few years ago. Me and my sons custom built it, a CR500AFC, it's a CR500 engine installed in an aluminum frame CR250 frame, nick named "The Beast".
