Thanks for the information, but I'm done with Mobil 1 0W40 oil in these cars. Not trying to derail this thread into an oil debate, but there is a reason Raby calls it "liquid death" in relation to these cars. I'm running DT40 from now on, and if I can't get DT40 for whatever reason, I'm putting MOTUL X-Cess 8100 in the car.
So, you change your Mobil one, factory fill every 12 mos or 3k miles, whichever comes first. You send to Blackstone for analysis and BS reports shows great specs.
How is this liquid death oil in a 996 street car?
