Good news - I've ordered snow tires and have received the rears.
Bad News - A pothole just ate my right rear tire (wheel looks ok, jack kit works like a charm).

I assume that 2 snow tires are a better spare than the spare that car has?

Any recommendations on a place in Northern VA to mount / balance / possibly refinish my wheel?

My front snows arrive the 10th - should I just drive with the rear snows until then (which would allow me to have the wheel refinished before I replace the tire, sometime before april), or mount a new tire right away (for the 3 days until my snows arrive), then deal with removing / refinishing / remounting.

Suggestions?
