Lots of good info here. There are a few things that are worth repeating though
- Don't turn on ignition with the seat disconnected to avoid an airbag light.
- The E12 socket is unique + gets a LOT of torque to unbolt the seats, so I'd recommend a high quality one.
- Put a towel over your dash, steering wheel, and other interior bits like the shift and ebrake to avoid scuffing things. The seats aren't terribly heavy, but when you're trying to maneuver them and bent over in an awkward position they feel like they weigh a ton.
