996 Aerokit Valuation
Moving across the country and had to choose between keeping my 996 or 997 - made the decision the 996 has to go.
Realize that 996 values are all over the place, and sometimes very high (or low) on places like BAT. So I'd like your opinion on what my car is worth:
* Early 1999 C2 6sp
* OE Aerokit
* Arena Red/ Gray interior
* LSD
* 57k
* Verified original paint except hood and front bumper
* Clean carfax
* All necessary work done in last 15k (LN IMS, RMS, Clutch, twist on oil filter adapter, starter, battery, tires, etc. etc. - full stack of receipts from me and POs)
* Painted arena red center console
* Swapped, rewrapped thicker 3 spoke wheel (came with ugly 4 spoke)
* 997 shifter
* 18" Twists
* Headers
* Clean Blackstone results

Not interested, so I'm giving you an honest opinion...
Even with the Aero kit and you're great care and the maintenance records, it's still a basic 99 C2. $22K is what I think it's worth.

Great car
Being a color other than black or silver usually brings a premium.
Aero always brings a premium.
Your preventive maintenance adds to value.
I think your results will depend on patience,
Fast sale I would think $21-$22k, take your time, hold out till spring time, April / May you could pull $24k maybe more, if it was professional detailed and photographed.

I agree, low to mid 20s.
What was the actual build date?

Mid-20k. I sold mine in very similar condition but with higher mileage, and not an OE aero for $23.5K in July. Your car is lower miles, and OE taco. Go look at your option sticker for "030" if you have that, consider it sold, I will pick up as soon as you wake up.

I put together a pricing database on all 996s for sale in the US last year. Just took a look at 1999 C2s and I think others have given very good advice that you're looking at $22k - $24k. Pretty unique and beautiful car, so you never know what will happen with the right buyer or if you wait until spring to list.

Is this the car that was for sale here, about a year ago, located down in the New Orleans area?

I have to work today and we're having High wind warnings (40-60 mph) that I need to monitor to see if we can even open. Yesterday we had to shut down after 2 hours and today's forecast is supposed to be worst.
