Default ESM Wheels? Prob gonna get killed for this!

Was curious if anyone had any long term use with ESM Wheels. I know a ton of people are going to pull the "you get what you pay for card". But i don't feel like paying 4k for some BBS wheels. I have looked a tons of wheels and hate most of them. I want something for my 04 C4S. The turbo twist were nice for a while but i want something different. I had looked at the ESM 004M. For 1k for all 4 looks like a steal.

Also thought about these from Wheel Dynamics. The ESM set is about $1050 and Wheel Dynamics is $1400

They look good, and they'll probably be fine if you're not going to track them. Buy what you like.

If you just cruise to C&C and the occasional back country road they will be fine. I wouldn't track them for sure, but heck I have seen factory Fuchs come apart at the track. So who knows for sure?

I have no intention on ever tracking the car. Maybe, just maybe i could see doing it once for fun. But i'm sure me as a driver wouldn't be able to push anything to the limits of failure.

I've run these ESM wheels for the last year and a half during the summer months. I was able to meet and chat with the owner this year and SEMA and he said he's just trying to offer some p-car guys with wheels that aren't 4k+ to run around town with. He also has a 996 that he drives, that purple 997 wasn't his, but rather a buddies car. Minnesota has terrible roads and I'm not looking to spend that much for wheels to get eaten up as a daily driver. I run a 15mm spacer in the rear and nothing up front, plus the car is lowered on H&R Springs. I'd recommend for sure and I'm waiting to see a set of their newly designed wheels on a 996 before I pulled the trigger.

What can I say...

I love the twist turbos... but I love more the special look that the multi spoke wheels give to the 4S widebody
