I wouldn't mind a few bucks + whatever shipping is, but I am not going to let it sit in my storage forever. Offers? Otherwise it will become cool shop art mounted to wall
I have no idea what it's worth. Less than 1,000 miles from what I can tell when the PO installed it and then I bought it. PM is fine if you want it.

I had the same issue when I took the K&N filter OUT of my car last year and put the stock airbox back in. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to get the darn thing plugged in correctly. I can't remember what I did, but I think it was easy. FYI, the only thing that K&N is going to do is to increase the temperature of the air going into your engine. I gave it to Porschetech and he verified this. Hope this picture helps.
Maybe I had to basically reverse the rubber boot on the wiring by pulling it down and rotating it 180 degrees.

OP - I have the same issue. Did you ever get the boot/plug separated so you could re-orient it? Any tips?

Thanks. Easy as you described. Not sure how it ended up this way in the first place.
Here's some pics in case it helps someone else.
backwards orientation
gently pry open one end
pry open other end
separate cover
turn cover around plug 180 degrees
wire routed correctly
