It really does. Great transformation.

Right, the PO would have got THOUSANDS MORE if they just did what you did. I feel like you had a 1-1,000,000 chance and you got it. Now I feel like I should look for some cars with messed up paint that I can get warranty work done on hahahaha. Did they fight you or was it simple?

Unless my memory is slipping, or I’m confusing this with another delaminated paint car, I think he got the car as a gift from his mother.

It looks awesome, congratulations!

Wow, that does look nice!

I wouldn't bother cleaning the injectors, I would replace them.
Warehouse33 had some of the best prices on injectors last time I looked.
Using the 10% off code(rennlist) will make them even more affordable.
Under $175 for 6 brand new injectors for 996.2.
I assume the 996.1 are just as affordable.

You are correct. Was given to me not running at all after sitting in the driveway for 5 or 6 years uncovered. They faught a bit because the company that did it was bought by service king. But since it was lifetime they had to pick up the warranty slack.

You think it’s for sure an injector issue?

If you're having fueling issues and these are the original injectors, I'd say change them. Get it smoke tested and look for vacuum leaks.
