Sport seats have the shoulder bolsters like those- not sure why he listed them as comfort seat, unless he confused them with the fixed-back gt3 euro seats?
That deal was a steal- those would sell for double here in the midwest

My shoulders would never fit comfortably in the sport seats...

I believe the real "comfort seats" have the "gathered upholstery" & debuted in 2003.

I had the factory Comfort Seat option in my 2002 C4S. The seats didn’t have shoulder bolsters, and they didn’t have gathered leather. They did feature two independently adjustable lumbar controls, upper and lower. I believe they are essentially the standard seat, with a greater degree of adjustability and support for added comfort.

So are these "Comfort" then? They look like the sport seats to me.

This thread (post #4 in particular) seems pretty comprehensive:

I will say that my draped leather seats look like hell with all the wrinkles and such. But they are also the most comfortable car seats that I have ever sat in.

This is what I was referring to, the 2003 comfort seats were much more comfortable than anything from previous years.(SOFT) I drove a brand new 2003 C4S with comfort seats from LA to the Valley of the Sun just east of Las Vegas, to exchange for a new 2003 Turbo with standard seats, to drive to Buttonwillow raceway near Bakersfield, for the Road & Track best handling car in America competition. The difference was obvious.

Got it. I was referring to the factory comfort seat option that was part of the original build for my 2002 C4S. I found the seats to be quite comfortable, although I will admit that the leather and the seat cushion were a bit hard compared to the 911s that I've owned since then. For what it's worth, the 18-way adaptive sport seats that were in my 997 turbo were the best automotive seats that I've ever experienced.
As they should be, congratulations!
