Default Blackstone Oil Analysis report: How to interpret results

Blackstone Oil Analysis report: I don’t know how to interpret these results. Is anyone experienced in reviewing these?

It looks good to me, but I don’t know if there is anything that I should be concerned about. Is this report average, good, great, excellent etc.

That's an OK report. It's just ONE report, so we don't know much. For example, are wear metals (Iron, copper, Alum, lead) going up or down? Keep doing the tests. And update in 2019.

Why are you using a 10W40? You don't want to use a 10 weight oil. You should use a 0 or 5 weight. So, 0W40, 5W40, or 5W50.

See how low you are in the spec range for viscosity? That's classic Mobil One shearing down. I suggest using Mobil's 5W50, and it will greatly improve, and is still A40 Porshe approved. Your wear metals should follow, with a slight improvement in 1 or 2 changes, and drop 1 or 2 PPM.

Oil weight was a typo. It’s 0W40.

So do the trends is what is more important than comparison to similar vehicles?

You also need to compare to equivalent oil.
My Driven 40 would not be a good comparison.

That makes sense now. That is very classic Mobil 0W40 shearing. Stop using it. Start using a quality A40 approved 5W40. Unless you drive in the winter, use a 0W40. Then change for spring-fall. Mobil 5W50 would be a great choice.
