Leather coming out from seat frame
Hey guys,
Quick question, does anyone have any issues from the leather part of the seat (both sides on drivers seat and one side on passenger) coming out of the groove it fits in on the frame/plastic part of seat frame? I bought it this way, and was able to roll it back into the crease of the plastic frame, but it comes loose after awhile. I thought maybe the previous owner was robust and used his upper body to lift himself out of the seat thus putting pressure and stretching the upper portions, but come to find out he wasn't a big guy. I make sure to roll into seat and out without exerting force on it, but it is slowly coming apart again. Any fixes? I went to 2 upholstery shops and they wanted to do $1k re-skins on the seat. Heck, for that, I'll buy some Braum Elite X seats and sell the stock ones????
Sorry for no pics at moment. I have been on the road away from home for a few weeks, but this has been a nagging question in my mind. Leather is in great shape too.
Any special clips to slid in to keep it in there?

I think it’s called a plastic pry tool, kinda looks like a thick blade with rounded edges. Basically what you’d use to take off your inside door trim without cutting up the nice leather.
Worked wonders for me with the seat.
